Percentage Off Promotion

Create promotions that reduce the order total by a percentage amount rather than a fixed monetary value.

Use Case: Percentage promotions are ideal for site-wide sales, seasonal discounts, or category-specific offers. They scale with order value and are easy for customers to understand.

Required Fields

The following fields are required for this promotion:

Field	Description
Title	The promotion name, not visible to the customer
Display Title	The message shown on the site in various locations when triggered (PLP banner or basket line)
Start Date	When the promotion becomes available to be applied
End Date	When the promotion becomes unable to be applied
Minimum Order	The minimum basket threshold amount for the promotion to be triggered
Maximum Order	The max basket threshold amount for the promotion to stop being applied
Value	The percentage the promotion is reducing by
Sites Tab	Select which site to apply the promotion to

Example: 10% Off Everything with Auto Apply

This example shows how to create a global 10% off promotion that automatically applies to all orders.

If you want this to apply to both full priced and discount products, toggle these options on:

Include Full Priced Items: On
Include Discount Items: On

If you want this to be triggered by a code instead of auto-applying:

Go to the voucher code tab
Add a code (e.g., "SAVE10")
Turn off "Auto Apply" in initial data

Auto Apply vs Voucher Code: With auto apply enabled, the discount applies automatically at basket. With a voucher code, customers must enter the code to activate the promotion.

Stackable Promotions: If you have other promotions running on the site, you may want to toggle on "stackable" to allow other promotions to run simultaneously.

These additional options can enhance your percentage promotion but are not required for basic functionality.

Stackable	Allow this promotion to be triggered alongside other promotions
Free Delivery	Allow this promotion to enable free delivery
Free Next Day Delivery	Allow this promotion to enable next-day delivery
Free Returns	Allow this promotion to enable free returns
New Customers Only	Restrict promotion to new customer email addresses
Existing Customers Only	Restrict promotion to existing customer email addresses
Use Discounted Price	Stack promotions with subsequent discounts applied to already discounted prices
Max Instances	Limit how many times each customer can use the promotion
