Manual orders
This article describes how to create and manage manual orders in the orders area.
Manual Orders are used to create orders in the admin for phone or offline orders. This page explains how to create and manage manual orders.
In the manual order flow you add products, apply discounts, select customer and address details, choose shipping, then review and complete the order. Use the steps below as your checklist.
Add products — enter the product code, choose the variant from the dropdown, update quantity and edit the price if required.
Repeat products — continue adding product lines until the order contains everything the customer needs.
Apply discounts & extras — add voucher codes, manual discounts or custom product lines and click Add to apply them to the order.
Customer — enter the customer email to find an existing account or click to add a new customer, then click Next.
Address — select a delivery address from the customer’s account or add a new address; use the “copy from delivery” checkbox where appropriate, then click Next.
Shipping & order type — choose the shipping method and order type (e.g., click & collect), then click Next.
Review & complete — check the order summary and totals, then click Complete order. The order will be created and marked as manual (usually pending payment).
Payments — if you use Pay by Link, create a payment request from the Payments tab; once the customer has paid the order moves into the normal fulfilment flow.
