Add a promotion via CSV

Guide for bulk uploading promotions using CSV files, including downloading existing promotions, uploading new ones, and managing product groups for efficient mass promotion management.

Where there are multiple promotions to be added it might be more straightforward to do this in the form of a CSV. There are two CSV types that you are able to download and upload.

When to use CSV uploads: Use CSV uploads when you need to create multiple promotions at once, update existing promotions in bulk, or when working with large product groups. For single promotions, consider using the manual promotion creation process.

Prerequisites

Before uploading promotions via CSV, ensure you have:

  • Admin access to the promotions module
  • Understanding of your promotion structure and requirements
  • Prepared data with all mandatory fields completed

CSV Types Overview

Promotions CSV

Contains all the promotions that are live on the site and the options available within the tabbed system

Use this to manage promotion details, voucher codes, and promotion settings.

Group CSV

Use this to define which products are included in specific promotions.
