View order
What you see in an order and how to edit order information (status, items, addresses, notes).
View order in Remarkable Commerce Manager shows everything you need to inspect and update an order. This page explains the tabs you'll see and gives step‑by‑step instructions for common edits.
What you see in view order
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Summary | Basic order information, customer details and an itemised list of products with prices, discounts and totals. |
| Payments | Transaction details, payment provider, captured amounts and refund actions where applicable. |
| History | Past orders and activity related to the customer. |
| Status | Current order state and controls to change it (with optional notification emails). |
| Notes | Free-text notes and internal comments visible to other team members. |
Change an order status
Use the Status tab to move an order through your fulfilment workflow. Common examples: Pending → Processing → Dispatched → Complete.
Open the order (click View on the order row).
Choose the Status tab.
Click Change status and select the new state using the radio buttons.
Click Save status. The system will send notification emails if the selected status is configured to do so.
Edit order details (items, prices, delivery)
You can edit order-level values and individual item prices when necessary (for example to apply a manual discount or fix a shipping charge).
Open the order and stay on the Summary tab.
Locate the section you want to edit (order totals, shipping cost or the individual line item).
Click Edit next to the field you want to change — an edit modal or inline form will appear.
Make your changes and save. Verify the totals and save the order.
Edit delivery or billing address
Addresses are edited from the summary tab in the customer section.
Open the order and go to the summary tab.
Scroll to the customer section and click edit billing address or edit delivery address.
Update the fields in the address modal and click Save.
Add internal notes or comments
Use the notes tab to add messages for colleagues or to record manual handling instructions.
Open the order and choose the notes tab.
Enter your comment in the global notes field.
Click save notes — the page will refresh and your comment will appear in the notes timeline.
Payments & refunds
Refunds are initiated from the Payments tab when the payment provider supports it. Check the transaction details before creating a refund.
Duplicate an order
We now have a feature where you can duplicate an order from the order table. This is useful when you want to create a new order with the same items and details as an existing one (for example, a repeat order or a replacement).
On the view order screen, click duplicate order to create a new order.
A warning message will appear to confirm you want to duplicate the order as this will duplicate the order and update stock. Click confirm and the system will create a new order with a new reference but with the same items, customer details and delivery information as the original. The new order will be in payment pending status so you can make any necessary changes before processing it and collecting payment.
From any orders list locate the order you want to duplicate and click Duplicate order in the row actions (or use the Duplicate button on the view order screen).
Read the confirmation dialog carefully — duplicating an order will reserve stock for the new order and cannot be undone automatically.
Click Confirm to create the duplicated order. A new order record is created with a new reference and the status set to Payment pending.
Open the newly created order and make any necessary edits (prices, quantities, shipping, customer or address details) before taking payment or progressing the order.
If you need to collect payment, create a Pay by Link from the payments tab or follow your normal payment collection process.
