How to Manage Users
Learn how to add, edit, invite, and manage admin users and roles in Remarkable Commerce Manager.
The Manage Users section in Remarkable Commerce Manager lets you control who can access the admin area and what permissions they have. Here you can add, invite, edit, and remove users, as well as assign roles and set up two-factor authentication for enhanced security.
Use the steps below to manage users and roles effectively.
Add a User
Navigate to Settings → Admin Settings → Users.

Click Add User.

Enter the following fields:
- Email address
- Password
- Username
- Name
- Role
- Default site
Choose whether to turn on two factor authentication for the user.
Click Save to create the user.

Invite a User
Navigate to Settings → Admin Settings → Users.

Click Add User.

Enter the following fields:
- Email address
- Name
- Role
- Default site
Click Send. The invited user will receive an email to set up their own password.
Find a User
Navigate to Settings → Admin Settings → Users.

Use the filter box on the right to search by email or filter by role. Filtering by email will show a unique user; filtering by role will show a list to help you find the user you want to manage.
Reset a User's Password
Locate the user you want to reset the password for.
On the far right, click the three lines:

Select Reset Password from the dropdown.
Change a User's Role
Locate the user whose role you want to change.
On the far right, click the three lines:

Select Edit from the dropdown.
Change the role in the role dropdown and save.
Roles
Add a Role
Navigate to Settings → Admin Settings → Roles.
Click Add Role and enter the name of the role.
Edit or Delete a Role
On the roles page, you can:
- Edit to change the name of the role
- Delete to remove the role
- Permissions to set permissions (see below)
Role Permissions
Navigate to Settings → Admin Settings → Role Permissions.
Choose the role from the dropdown.
Toggle the permissions for the role as needed. The page will autosave.
