Delivery charts

Daily delivery totals and counts with year comparison, filters and CSV export guidance.

This page documents the Delivery charts — daily delivery totals, counts and quick guidance on filtering and exporting delivery data.

At a glance

  • Purpose: compare delivery performance across methods and against previous periods so fulfilment and carrier choices can be assessed.
  • Primary visuals: a bar chart showing today's delivery totals vs last year's totals and a line series showing today's counts vs last year's counts.
  • Controls: a right-hand date selector to filter the chart and an export option to download the underlying rows as CSV.

Chart overview

  • Visual: a combined bar + line chart. Bars show monetary order totals (today vs last year) and the line shows counts (today vs last year) across the selected dates.
  • Axes: the X axis displays the selected dates, and the Y axis shows order totals (monetary). A secondary axis can show counts when the chart uses both measures.
  • Behaviour: the chart compares the selected period to the same range in the previous year; hover to see exact totals and counts for each date.

Filters and controls

  • Date selector: choose the date range to inspect (right-hand panel).
  • Export: use the top-right menu to download the chart or table data as CSV.

Table below the chart

  • Under the chart there is a table listing delivery-level rows. Typical columns:

  • delivery_title — delivery method (e.g. Click & Collect, DPD Next Day, Standard Delivery)

  • date — the date for the row

  • count — number of deliveries/orders using the method on that date

  • total — monetary total for orders using that delivery method on that date

Example rows might include Click & Collect, DPD Next Day and other delivery options.

Sample CSV export

A minimal example row from the CSV export:

delivery_title,date,count,total
DPD Next Day,2026-01-09,42,1250.50

How to interpret the report

  • Spikes in totals: may indicate peak order days or successful campaigns — check promotion calendars and channel activity.
  • High counts but low totals: many low-value deliveries — consider reviewing parcel size/pricing or promotion effects.
  • Delivery method shifts: sudden changes in method mix can indicate carrier issues, shipping cost changes or checkout UX modifications.

Walkthrough: quick start

Use the date selector in the right-hand panel to choose the period you want to analyse.

Hover the chart to compare today's totals and counts against the previous year's values for the same dates.

If available, filter to specific delivery methods to focus the chart and table on those options.

Click Export → CSV to download the delivery rows for offline analysis.
