Search Rules

Search rules allow you to fine-tune how search results are prioritised and displayed in Remarkable Commerce Manager.

Tip: Adjust search rules to give greater weight to matches in product title, facets, or description, depending on your site’s data and needs.

Weighting

You can alter the weighting for different match areas in search:

Match AreaWhat it means
TitlePrioritise matches in the product title
FacetPrioritise matches in product facets
DescriptionPrioritise matches in the product description

If the highest weighting is set for title, search will favour products where the search term matches the product title over description or facets. These settings are usually different per site, depending on how your product data is set up.


API Settings

These settings are mainly toggles, which can be switched on or off as needed:
