Layout Grid
Introduction to the layout grid on the first tab of the CMS page editor.
What is the layout grid
The layout grid lets you divide the page up into columns.
When opening up the cms page editor the layout grid tab is the first thing you will see. The layout grid is made up of rows and columns which can be adjusted to create different layouts for your pages.
The layout grid is based on a 12 column system, which means that you can create layouts that are 12 columns wide. You can also create layouts that are 6 columns wide, 4 columns wide, 3 columns wide, and so on.
All these columns are preset so the columns can be dragged into the page, the content can then be added into the column using the standard cms components located on the next tab.
Here are the steps for adding in a layout grid to your page:
Open the cms page editor and select the layout grid tab.
Drag and drop the desired column layout into the page.
Add content to the columns using the cms components tab.
Save and publish the page to see the changes live on your site.
