Promotion Features
The Remarkable Commerce Manager includes a Promotion/Campaign module, with the following features:
Voucher page
This screen displays all of the promotion codes which have been added when setting up new promotions. Against each voucher code, there are these options:
- Edit: takes you to the promotion which uses this voucher page
- Delete: deletes the voucher code and removes it from being applied to the promotion too
- View Promotions: shows you which promotions which has that voucher code assigned to them
You can also filter the list of voucher codes by using the 'Filter' panel, you can filter by the voucher code or the date it was live.
Also on this page, you can download a list of voucher codes into a CSV spreadsheet.
Promotions page
Create a Promotion:
Promotion Data tab
- Active: whether the promotion is live or not
- Voucher type:
- Percentage off (a percentage off the item total or basket total)
- Money off (a fixed monetary amount off the item total or basket total)
- X for Price (a price discount applied when a set amount of items are added to basket)
- X for Percentage (a percentage discount applied when a set amount of items are added to basket)
- X get Y Free (an item is set to Free when a set amount of items are added to basket)
- X from each group for Set Price (a fixed price for a set amount of items)
- X from each group for Set Percentage off (a fixed percentage off for a set amount of items)
- X for Price sliding (subsequent items are discounted to the newly calculated promotion price)
- Display only (used for when you want to add a roundel or overlay not attached to a specific promotion)
- Free delivery (used for when you want to apply free delivery to selected product groups)
- Title: this is the promotion name, and is not visible to the customer
- Display title: this is the message shown on the site in various locations when the promotion is triggered
- Banner This is where the sitewide banner that appears on the title is selected.
- Start Date: this is when the promotion is available to be applied from
- End Date: this is when the promotion becomes unable to be applied
- Minimum Order: this is the minimum basket threshold amount for the promotion to become triggered
- Maximum Order: this is the max basket threshold amount for the promotion to stop being applied
- Value: the amount of the price of percentage the promotion is reducing by
- Rank: this defines the order of promotions which are stacked
- Selected Groups Only: enable the promotion to only be triggered if particular items (or items from particular categories) are added to basket
- Include Discount Items: allow for items already being discounted via 'Sale Price' to be included in the promotion
- Include Full Priced Items: allow for items which are full price and have no discounts applied, to be included in the promotion
- Stackable: allow for this promotion to be triggered alongside other promotions also being applied
- Free Delivery: allow for this promotion to enable free delivery
- Free Next Day Delivery: allow for this promotion to enable next-day delivery
- Free Returns: allow for this promotion to enable free returns
- New Customers Only: allow for this promotion to only be usable by new customer email addresses
- Existing Customers Only: allow for this promotion to only be usable by existing customer email addresses
- Use Discounted Price: Allows you to stack promotions and the subsequent discount can be discounted from the initial discounted price, so two 10% discounts would use the first discount then the second 10% would come off of the discounted price.
Sites tab
- Ability to control which storefronts allow the promotion, such as only your UK site, or only your App
Groups tab
- Add a new group: this is a group of products which will trigger the promotion. You can:
- Define the name of the group
- Choose the group number
- Enable products in this category from the promotion
- Update the group, with products. You can:
- Tick the group you wish to add products to, then...
- Either choose the category you wish to assign products from, or manually find individual products and assign them
Site Overlays tab
- Upload new overlay: this is the small sash/image that you wish to appear on-top of a product image. You can:
- Upload a PNG or JPG file (ensure the file-name does not contain any spaces), and...
- Define the position on the PLP product tile you wish for the overlay to be positioned.
Customer Email Addresses tab
- Add email addresses: this allows you to define the specific email addresses which will allow the promotion to be used, which can be added in bulk with a comma-seperated list. Don't forget to enable either/both of the "New/Existing Customers Only" checks on the promotion data tab.
Voucher codes tab
- Add voucher codes: this allows you to define the specific voucher codes which trigger the promotion, which can be added in bulk with a comma-seperated list.
Promotion Banners page
- The promotional banners place is where you upload the promotional sitewide message that appears on the header. Here you can press add and add a title and content of what you want to appear in the banner. This is then selectable in the main promotion section under banners.
