Search Features

Here are all the aspects of Search that can be controlled by Remarkable Commerce Manager.

Manage Dictionary

View all the all keywords loaded in to the site

Manage Synonyms

Set synonyms for the keyword, so that results for the keyword will include results for the synonym

Manage Stopwords

Add a stopword so the search stops at the stopword and only searchs on the keywords before the stopword.

Manage redirects

Manage Redirects so that search terms can be redirected to a specific page.

Manage Replaces

This has the same function as the synonym function but it also replaced the word in the search box so it is visible to the searcher.

Manage Fuzzy Words

This ensures that misspells or searches including punctuation return the correct results by adding fuzzy words to each keyword. e.g. lrage > large

Search Rules

Set rules to replace the keyword with another word or query when it is searched for site users are redirected to a custom page rather than the search results. On this page you can view the pages the rules are set on, set up a new rule and edit or delete the existing rule.

Search Preview

This allows you to search the keywords and see the response while you are setting up the search settings.

Attribute Keywords

View all attribute keywords for the all the sites set up in Remarkable Commerce. There is the option to edit an existing attribute keyword link, to change the keyword that triggers an attribute search. There is also the option to delete an attribute keyword link, so that searches for that particular keyword no longer trigger an attribute search and add new attribute keywords.
